About Claire

Pronouns: she, her, hers

I work with teens and adults navigating a wide range of mental health matters, supporting my patients in finding greater peace, self-understanding, and emotional resilience. My specialities include eating disorders, disordered eating, and life transitions. I also work with individuals who are supporting loved ones through an eating disorder.

I approach therapy with compassionate curiosity, creating space for clients to explore their inner world at their own pace. While my work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, and the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES), I also tailor my treatment approach based on each individual's unique needs and preferences.

I bring experience from higher levels of eating disorder care, where I provided individual, family, and group therapy. In that setting, I collaborated closely with dietitians, psychiatrists, and doctors to support clients across levels of care. I have also worked with individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I earned my MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and hold a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) practicing in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. I am practicing under the supervision of Heather Ferguson, LCSW.
